2011 WR250/300 - Evolution in the Two Stroke Class.

Update: 22/07/10

Husqvarna have today released initial details of the changes applied to the WR250 and open class WR300 for model year 2011.

In a case of evolution rather than revolution, the 2011 big bore two strokes benefit from a number of technical changes designed to improve the rideability and cosmetic appearance. Top of the change list is the move to a new digital ignition system, which smoothes out the power delivery and provides an increase in power across the rev range compared to the 2010 versions. The engine cooling system is now fitted with thermostatic control to ensure the engine stays at its optimum operating temperature in all seasons and there is a redesigned airbox to keep the motor fed with fresh, clean air.

Cosmetic changes include the new 2011 style graphics, which are moulded in to the panels for added durability, the adoption of a new bright LED rear light and a revision to the headlight mounting to again improve durability.
